This site is actually a new look to one I owned and which had been online since the nineties.

It had been a little of everything to me as I found my way around building an online presence. In time it became a pretty large and disorganized place. At the recommendation of a trusted web acquaintance, I've split the place into my three main interests - writing and eBooks and family. So the sister site of The Writer's Connection at DWW is The eBook Connection at DWW. DWW stands, as my logo shows, for DreamWind Whispers. Would've been a longer domain name had I used the whole thing, so I hope this won't be too confusing as I make the transition. I'm also using a new hosting service. In any case, I wanted to keep some form of the name of Dreamwind Whispers. It does show up in a lot of what I write. Dreamt up the name as a kid, and I've showcased it or just DreamWind in my stories and poems as well as my domain names! In the meantime, I'll be moving things over to this new place and deleting it off the other. Posting links and short news items there to point here and to the eBook Connection site.

Family's my third focus, and that site is now going to be here. It's got some bugs, I notice. So, I'll have to take some more time to fix those. I'll write a few memoirs here. Started to do that, but life happens and I get sidetracked. Doesn't help I have adult ADD. Off ramps branching off of off ramps branching off of still more off ramps on my brain's highway. Then, of course, there's the back roads . . . and road blocks . . .

I plan to continue the Guest Article pages, which will be hosted in the Article Library section. Mine will be there as well, I think. Anything is possible! I'm hoping to be able to do a better job in maintaining the site since I've sharpened the focus.

As my little tagline up there suggests, I'd like to feature the whole process of writing from getting that first idea to getting an acceptance whether it be for an article, short story, poem, or book. Or eBook. And for more info on that, you can go HERE.

I want to include all the elements I never got around to doing in the original site. Lessons, exercises, etc. Try to post new resources as I find them in my web travels. And I have found a few lately!

Most or all of this same info will appear on the About This Site page, eventually, as I develop new content. In the meantime, stroll around. Come back often, book mark the place so you can! In short, enjoy!
